Hey Audrey, as a Career Transition Expert, I like the point you made about thanking the people who have taken the time to be a professional reference. I find often job seekers take these folks for granted and need to be reminded about thanking them, as well as keeping them in the loop about what jobs you are applying for. Nurturing these relationships is a key part of executing a successful job search and transition.
